Linoleum Printmaking

I am a linoleum printmaker working with small to medium sized pieces, on both mounted and unmounted block. My prinmaker/artist name is “Chones Achicharrados,” however, I also switch between my initials “E.A.”

My work has been featured in the Enero Zapatista 2026 Exhibit in San Diego, California as well as in collaboration with Mexican artists in Ecaptepec.

I also host linoleum printmaking workshops that range from comissioned workshops for groups of 40 people to volunteer workshops to support mutual aid fairs. Most recently on May 2, 2026 I held an “Art in Nature” Lino print workshop comissioned by ‘Ataaxum Pomkwaan X Rez Beats X Indigenous Regeneration.

Some of my pieces are sold through the small-scale Zine distribution press, Cempazuchitl’s Library. Recently, Cempazuchitl’s Library sold my pieces at the Santa Barbara Literary Festival (May 3, 2026).

Art in Nature

May 2, 2026

12-3 pm

This event held at the Richard Bugbee Land Relationship Center blended Native Ecology and Lino printmaking.

I led an overview of the San Luis River Watershed, while also providing a ecological landscape of the region.

Inspired by the ecology and plant garden, we carved pieces that demonstrated what we learned that day.

Previous work, 2017-2026

These are some political prints I created between 2017-2026.

Collaborations

This collaboration was done with El Varuker (Ecatepec, Mexico).

My original linoleum print was scanned and the “Oracion al Migrante” or “Prayer for the Migrant” was superimposed.

These were then published in small zines to hand to migrants crossing through Mexico, as well as wheat pasted across Mexico City where many migrants traverse.
